HAPPY NEW STAMPIN’ UP! CATALOG DAY!!
Yes, today is the day it all happens!! Stampin’ Up! is releasing its new May-August Catalog, full of new products and some old ones we have had! This catalog is not referred to as the Annual Catalog because now we will have three catalogs during the year, plus new Online Exclusives every two months. So we will have a nice stream of new products coming our way with maybe a little less confusion about which catalog something is in.
This Everyday Essentials Thank You Card features a couple of new products. First and foremost is the new Everyday Essentials Mix & Match Designer Series Paper on page 70 of the new catalog. The card base is Misty Moonlight. I cut the designer paper at 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ so that I could add narrow strips of Bubble Bath pink along the sides. I cut strips 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ to add under the DSP while still letting the sides of the Misty Moonlight show. I love the dark background on the paper and the pretty flowers in Bubble Bath and Darling Duckling.
For the greeting, I used the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set on page 46 of the catalog. I think this stamp set has some nice and useful sentiments. I stamped the “Thank You’ with Misty Moonlight ink on Bubble Bath cardstock and then diecut it with a rectangular scalloped die in the Scalloped Blooms Dies. You will be surprised when you open this package and see how big the scalloped circle dies are! It’s a nice collection. And this stamp set and die set is part of the Bloom Boutique Suite Collection!
For a little embellishment, I added the Bubble Bath 1/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon behind the sentiment. I looped it around back and forth more times than I normally do, but really, it just made these little loops on its own so I made more than usual! The little flower embellishments are called Dreamy Flowers and come in Berry Burst, White, and Bubble Bath. I felt like the greeting needed a little something, and these kind of match the pink flowers on the card so they were perfect!
If you are a regular customer of mine and HAVE A STAMPIN’ UP! ACCOUNT, then I likely ordered a catalog for you, and you should have received it by now, hopefully. You may think you have a Stampin’ Up! account, but since they updated the website awhile back to comply with privacy laws, etc. etc. it has been a little more difficult to see our list of customers. You also have to have opted in to “Contact” so that I have permission to send you a catalog. It would also be good if you opted in to “Rewards” because why not?! If you have trouble with any of this, ask me and I can send you an “Invitation” that maybe makes it easier for you to complete this process and also choose me as your Demonstrator. It’s also possible you did all this, and your name still doesn’t show up because that’s just how computer systems work sometimes! Let me know!
