Wild Bunch Happy Birthday Card

Wild Bunch Happy Birthday Card

I just got this Wild Bunch Stamp Set a few days ago because I ordered late since we were on our cruise. Also, it seems like June just started, but it’s 3/4’s over! I can barely keep up! I saw that this Wild Bunch Stamp Set, the June Product of the Month, is sold out already. However, maybe you already have it and are looking for ideas. While the English version is sold out, the French version is still available! It doesn’t matter what language the stamp set is in for the cute animals, but of course the sentiments will be in French. But you can substitute from your other stamp sets.

To get the Product of the Month, you must spend $75 on Stampin’ Up! products and then only pay $5 for the Product of the Month. You must have your own Stampin’ Up! account.

For this first card using the Wild Bunch Stamp Set, the Wild Bunch Happy Birthday Card, I used Pecan Pie cardstock for the card base. The fold is at the top of the card, but you can put it on the side as usual. The pattern layered as the background is in the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. I wouldn’t have thought, “I think I’ll use the paper with tiny white flowers on it for my card,” but once I saw it in the package, I thought it would be cute with this little koala bear. Koalas aren’t really bears, they are marsupials.

The koala is stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Ink and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. You can use whatever colors you like. I’m not an expert on what colors various animals should be! He was fussy-cut after I colored him.

The background for the koala are two Scalloped Blooms Dies, one in Pecan Pie and one in a striped paper in the Lovely Blossoms Designer Paper. I put the stripes on a slight diagonal rather than trying to have them straight. The koala is popped up on the scallops along with a little gift colored in Pool Party.

The greeting is stamped in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and then just flagged one end. The greeting is in the Wild Bunch Stamp Set.

For some final embellishments, I used a few of the Crumb Cake pearls in the Pearls of Beauty Pack.

I stamped and colored all the animals so they would be ready when I want to make another Wild Bunch card!
