I made this card to share with all the mothers out there. I made it quickly and easily using My Digital Studio! Would you believe this began as one of the baby girl designer templates? I just took out the photo box in the middle of the frame and inserted the Sweet Pea felt elements, changed the color of the ribbon from brown to Pretty in Pink, and added the text! Hope your children give you a happy day to remember!
I love it every time Stampin’ Up! comes out with a video because I know I will see terrific ideas and products. Today I watched a training webinar for My Digital Studio presented by Stampin' Up! for demonstrators. The presenter on the webinar was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator who did a fantastic job showing how to use My Digital Studio to make a calendar. Even though I had already planned to make these pages, watching the webinar today inspired me to get these done! One of her best tips was to get in the program and see what ALL is included in the software plus all the extra downloads we can purchase. My Digital Studio is really a goldmine of fun things to use in all kinds of projects!
Here is what came of my playing tonight!
Even the star metal brads are digital! I thought they went well with the Texas page! But if I had wanted to, I could leave those off and add real brads after I had the pages printed. That is called hybrid scrapbooking!
My Digital Studio is easy enough even for us beginners to use. So don't think you have to be an expert to use it! If I can do it, you can learn too! And if you are already familiar with digital scrapbooking, you can enjoy using fabulous Stampin' Up! designs and products in your projects.

This card was made with My Digital Studio. I started with a Designer Page, Sunny Day, moved the colored papers down, added the bunny (made with punches!), added the flowers with "Petal Pizzazz", and the Easter eggs with punches! So fun!

Just playing around with My Digital Studio and my azalea pictures from the other day! This is the azalea bush in our front yard which has burst into bloom this week! For the background I selected a photo of the azaleas but changed the opacity down to 40. Then I added photo boxes and chose the photos to go in them, added a mat and a drop shadow to each. For the mat color, I decided to use the "Color Picker" with which you can select a color from your photo to use as your mat. I did that for the first photo but then wondered how I would get the exact same color for the other mats. I was able to do that by putting that color in my Favorites and then choose that color for the other photos! The words came from the Designer Kit "Sunny Day". And then I added some digital Garden Green Grosgrain Ribbon and Knots. To make this a hybrid scrapbook page I could leave off the ribbon and knots, print out the page and then attach my own real ribbon!
You can do so much with this My Digital Studio software!Every time I use it is a new adventure to see what I will find! Just think how easy it would be to scrapbook your Easter pictures if you had My Digital Studio!
Here are some easy little Easter baskets that you can make any size you want, just start with a square. Then I used various "punch art" I'd seen on the internet to decorate the baskets.

To make it easy, I used sheets of patterned paper from various Stampin' Up! paper packs I had in my stash. They came 6×6 so all I had to do was score, cut and assemble. See THIS POST for how I made these baskets. Click on the photos to enlarge them.
These baskets really are fun to make and easy! Instead of the punch art just decorate your basket with ribbon or buttons or flowers or a sentiment. Just start and you will see how addicting they are! Let me know if you have a question!

I just made this Easter card using My Digital Studio (#118108) I started with a designer template included in the papercrafting software and deleted the "thank you" and other embellishments on the top half of the card. I kept the hearts you see, the ribbon and the bottom Designer Series Paper. I changed the top half to Pink Passion and used the Holiday Blitz Stamp Set included in the software for the bunny. I put a layer of Whisper White behind the bunny and a layer of Tempting Turquoise behind that. You can make a project like this in a matter of minutes…..the only extra time it takes is usually you find yourself playing around with all the elements in the software more than you anticipated! Today I even discovered a Search feature so I could easily find the "Easter Wishes" sentiment without looking through all the stamp sets!

We didn't get any snowflakes at my house yesterday although I think areas about an hour outside of Houston did get an inch or two. The most winter weather I noticed was a few seconds of sleet hitting the car windshield. Today it is chilly out, but the sun is shining….a beautiful day! I decided to play with My Digital Studio again and make a sunshine-y, happy card! I started with one of the "Designer Kits" inside the program for the card front (Sunny Day)…..which is the same as one of our "Simply Scrappin' Kits". I could have just opened up the page it provided and been done, but I wanted to play so I added ribbon and bows and added more buttons to the flowers. Next I "inserted" another page, colored it with Designer Series Paper, and added a flower. Notice that the stem and leaf is really a bird leg colored Old Olive and flipped upside down! I "inserted" one more page for the greeting and added the bird. The options are endless, you could play forever!

What can be more exciting than hearing the words "Snow" and "Winter Weather Advisory" in a Houston, TX weather forecast??! While some other areas in Texas might actually get several inches of snow today, we will be lucky if we see a few snowflakes here in southwest Houston, but I'll take what I can get! Any day now the cold weather will be completely gone and it will be so smotheringly hot that we won't be able to imagine that we ever felt chilly! So we might as well enjoy even the possibility of snow! If we get something, I think it will be the third time this winter which is amazing. So with the possibility of seeing some microscopic snowflakes that will not even stick to the ground, I decided to play with My Digital Studio and make one more winter card!

Now that Valentine's Day is over, it is time to start thinking about spring! No matter how cold it still is outside! Even here in Houston it is close to freezing every morning, although the day usually turns out nice if the sun comes out!
This is a fairly easy card to make, except for cutting out the little butterflies! But don't worry about it, just do it. Even if they are not perfect they will be fine! Paper Snips (#103579) make cutting out much easier! For a change, I used the Confetti White card stock (#102028). It used to be one of my favorites, but I haven't used it in awhile. It's also pretty good for watercoloring and just has a little more elegant look maybe than Whisper White with the little flecks in it.
Get out that fantastic new set in the Occasions Mini, Vintage Vogue, and stamp a few green vines and leaves going across the paper. Then I went back over with a little flower from Flight of the Butterfly in the Idea Book & Catalog and stamped in various colors. I used the little butterfly stamp in that same set for the three little butterflies which are then cut out by hand and mounted on Dimensionals. Tie a pretty Whisper White Organza Ribbon around, stamp a sentiment, and you've got yourself a card!
