Surprising Product Changes at Stampin’ Up!

New Stamp and Die Packaging

Yesterday Stampin’ Up! announced some product changes that probably took almost all of us by surprise. There will be lots of different opinions about the changes depending on what you like, but I find that after everyone gets used to the new things it turns out okay.

Here are the changes.

  1. Stampin’ Up! is discontinuing red rubber cling stamps and all stamps will be photopolymer. I have been finding that I’m so used to the photopolymer and being about to see through the clear stamps that in some cases I’m disappointed I can’t see through the cling stamps for placement.
  2. Also being discontinued, are Stampin’ Write Markers. Oh my! We have had these markers since before I started stamping. We even had the nifty carrying case for ALL of the markers. BUT I have found that I rarely use mine any more because I use Stampin’ Blend markers all the time. But you still have a chance to get your hands on the Stampin’ Write Markers while they are available.
  3. New are the stamp and dies packaging! This will make some people happy who like saving space and having the artwork for the dies on the package which we don’t have now. Other people who don’t like their storage system changed up may not be happy. Even if you prefer another kind of storage and organization you can still do that with your own system.

Watch this video from Stampin’ Up! explaining the changes and the reasons why. Then I’ll give you the information on dates.

PS: That stamp set and dies you see pictured above? It’s a sneak peek of a new set and packaging coming in the November Online Exclusives!

Cling Stamps Info:

  • Starting with November 2025 Online Exclusives, all new stamps will be photopolymer.
  • The upcoming Sept – Dec 2025 Mini Catalog and the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog will be the last printed catalogs with cling stamps.
  • In December 2025, all cling stamps in the September–December 2025 Mini Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the mini catalog will carry over.
  • In April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the annual catalog will carry over.
  • Final transition: In April 2026, all remaining cling stamps across our offering will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last.
  • On August 20, 2025, all Stampin’ Write Markers will move to Last Chance Products* and be available while supplies last. So if you want to get any markers, I’d get on that website today and start ordering in case some colors sell out.

New packaging for stamp sets and dies!

  • New packaging measures 5-5/8″ x 9″ (14.3 x 22.9 cm).
  • Stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easy to store bundles and coordinating products together.
  • Packaging is clear with an insert that displays stamp or die artwork for quick and easy identification—yes, both stamp and die packaging will now show artwork!
  • Larger packaging dimensions allow us to showcase more stamp artwork at 100% on the insert.
  • Sleek, slim design will help you and your customers store more in less space.
  • Envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for quick and easy opening and closing.
  • Packaging is sized to fit a variety of organization systems.

Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog Cover 2025-2026

Here are a few more videos from Stampin’ Up! that you might enjoy! I love looking at these to see the new products showcased so well! Have you worn out your new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog yet from looking through it over and over again? I think every time I page through it I find something new. Besides the new catalog, we also have many products in the Online Exclusives. Even though it’s a little inconvenient to not have all our products in one catalog, the advantage is we don’t have to wait for the next catalog to get new products. Stampin’ Up! can release new Online Exclusives every two months for us! And rather than the Clearance Rack or even immediate Retirement Lists, we have the Last Chance List where products will stay while supplies last. Some are discounted and prices may be adjusted over time, but it’s nice to have those items still available longer even though they are “retiring”.

One of my favorite products, in recent catalogs, are the Ephemera Packs. This video showcases the newest cards & envelopes plus ephemera packs, all of the things you can Mix & Match!

Stampin’ Up! has recently returned to an emphasis on scrapbooking with lots of new products and kits. Of course, products for scrapbooking and cardmaking are almost always interchangeable, but it’s nice for scrapbookers to have more choices these days. I think the older we get and we look back at our own family and ancestors, the more we realize the importance of memory-keeping in whatever form it takes. Whether you make very detailed, exquisite pages for your photos in fantastic albums, or you make some easy pages decorated with photos and (very importantly) journaling! Someday somebody is going to look through these pages and be so happy that family events or even just images of our daily lives are recorded. Enjoy this video about specific scrapbooking products in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

And popular with a lot of people, who like to make things but don’t have as many supplies as many of us have, or just want to open a box and have a fun project to make, easy enough for anyone, even beginning crafters, are the Kits in the Kits Collection! Two or maybe sometimes three new Kits are released every month! Here are videos about the two Kits released in May 2025.

Enjoy the weekend by relaxing with your new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog whether you have a hard copy in your hands or like to browse online! If you missed a previous post with other videos of the new products, CLICK HERE to see them!

Free Shipping Open Box Confetti Info

Stampin’ Up is offering FREE SHIPPING beginning today, Wednesday, through Friday of this week!! Don’t miss out! It’s a good time to get what you still wanted from the retiring Annual Catalog and Spring Mini. It’s also a good time to take inventory of your cardstock because there is a price increase in the new catalog.

  • Free shipping is for three days only. Orders must be opened and closed April 23–25.
  • Free shipping automatically applies to your cart after the qualifying amount has been met, which is $75 USD (before tax).
  • Using Stampin’ Rewards will lower your order’s retail amount. Orders must meet the qualifying amount ($75) after Rewards are applied to be eligible for free shipping.
  • The additional cost for expedited shipping is not covered by this promotion.
  • Prepaid 3-, 6-, and 12-month Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and month-to-month subscriptions do not qualify for free shipping. Refills, past kits and add-ons do qualify toward free shipping, but you must be a subscriber to purchase. Subscriptions billed and shipped this month will be charged for the normal amount ($25.00 USD shipping included) + tax.

Don’t forget the Last Chance products and Online Exclusives (including Kits) PLUS the Paper Pumpkin sale below:

Paper Pumpkin Sale

If you are an active Paper Pumpkin subscriber (you can join any time!), big savings start today!

Today & Tomorrow, April 23–24, Paper Pumpkin subscribers can save up to 75% OFF on refills, past kits, and add-ons! BONUS! You can also get FREE SHIPPING during the sale (on qualifying orders which would be a minimum order of $75)! This special offer is only available to active subscribers, so subscribe today—but hurry because this sale is only while supplies last!

“Past Kits” are ones that have already been offered, but are the complete kit. “Refills” do not contain the exclusive stamp set and ink spot but you can likely use your own stamps and ink or markers. Often there is not a lot of stamping that needs to be done so you can get away with just the refill. Or make extras with the refill that matches a kit you had already gotten. Add-ons are small dies that were offered to go along with some of the kits for just a little extra something!

Paper Pumpkin is a treat you give yourself when you find that box in your mail once a month! It’s even wrapped like a gift inside complete with colored tissue paper! All the supplies you need are in the kit except maybe for scissors. It’s really relaxing and fun to just open the box and start creating without having to have a lot of supplies (or look for them!) or designing the project. Of course, you can create your own project and alternatives with the supplies if you prefer.

Stampin' Up Rewards Banner purple

Yesterday, April 15, Stampin’ Up! gave us a new Stampin’ Rewards program! No longer do we have to accumulate a large order to get rewards or get none. Now, with every order of $20 or more (before shipping and tax, of course), we will earn 10% in Stampin’ Rewards! All you need is an account and to be “opted in”. If you already have an account, all you have to do is sign in and a pop up will direct you through the steps to opt in. It’s easy and will only take a minute. If you do not have an account, just click “Create Account” from the Sign In box and put in your information. If you purchase as a “Guest” or do not “opt in” to receive awards, you will not receive any, although you can always change your mind. The system will keep track of your rewards and you can use them on your next order or any future orders. Use them each time or save them up. You will not use rewards on the order on which you are earning them. They are for future orders.

To earn Stampin’ Rewards through a Paper Pumpkin subscription, you must spend $20.00 USD per order.

  • 3-month Paper Pumpkin subscription = $5.40 USD in Stampin’ Rewards*
  • 6-month Paper Pumpkin subscription = $10.80 USD in Stampin’ Rewards*
  • 12-month Paper Pumpkin subscription = $21.60 USD in Stampin’ Rewards*
  • Any month-to-month Paper Pumpkin subscription with two or more kits per month = $1.80 USD for every kit

Note: Single month-to-month Paper Pumpkin subscriptions with only one kit per month do not qualify for Stampin’ Rewards because the shipping included in the subscription brings the cost below the $20.00 USD threshold for earning rewards. Paper Pumpkin refills, past kits, and add-ons also qualify for rewards as long as the product total meets the threshold.

*Before discounts or coupon codes applied.

I think one thing to remember is that we will earn rewards on the “Retail Amount” in the Shopping cart which must be $20 or more. If you use a $5 reward on that order, which you can do, it will drop the Retail amount to $15 and therefore be less than $20 so you would not earn more rewards on that order. It has worked that way with other Product Credits that we have earned as Demonstrators or maybe on some promotions, customers. For example, if in the past I had a order entered in my Cart for $150 and expected to get Stampin’ Rewards of $15 on that order, but I used $50 in product credits, that dropped the retail amount to $100 so I was no longer eligible for Stampin’ Rewards. So you can’t get rewards on the amount subtracted with your rewards. I think these are the little details that will be confusing at first, but otherwise, the process is clear and straightforward. You will see that in your Shopping Cart.

Watch this video from Sara at Stampin’ Up! and you’ll see how easy it is! Then go sign in to your account, opt in, and be ready for your next order!

Happy Stampin’ Rewards!!

New Color Coach Wheel Coming November 5th For You!

Color Coach Wheel 2024

One new product coming soon on Tuesday, November 5th at Stampin’ Up! will be this Color Coach color wheel. During a previous Stampin’ Up! event, Demonstrators who attended were given a color wheel very much like this one. It turned out to be SO popular, that Stampin’ Up! decided to make them to sell to everyone. I think this one does not include the In Colors which the original one did. Years ago we had a color wheel so it will be nice to have one again with current colors.

The other side of the wheel explains how to use the color wheel to choose colors when designing cards and projects. We have Monochromatic Colors, Complementary Colors, Triadic Colors, and Analogous Colors. Then we have Neutrals that work with almost any color combination.

Color Coach Wheel 2024 Back

I think these wheels “could” go fast so if you would like to have one, I would plan on ordering one on the first day. But I could be wrong. If you do order one, notice that the “brad” that goes in the center of the Color Coach is enclosed in the plastic bag the wheel is shipped in. You could easily miss it or at first wonder what is in the bag.

If you need help in figuring out what colors would look good together or would like some new ideas for color combinations in your projects, then this Color Coach wheel will be very helpful to you!

New Things From the New Catalog!

Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog Cover 2024

One of the best parts of my week was the new Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog arrived! This was the complimentary copy I got as a Demonstrator, but hopefully, the ones I ordered for my customers will arrive in a couple of weeks as well! You can’t see the inside yet, but here are some of the goodies I got in my Demonstrator pre-order that arrived yesterday!

New In Colors! At first glance I thought two of the colors looked exactly the same – Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock! But as I got used to them a little, I can tell they are different.

In Color Cardstock 2024-2026

Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink (a returning color from years ago!), Summer Splash, Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock

In Color 2024-2026 Ribbon

The In Color ribbons are really nice, I think!

In Color 2024-2026 Embellishments

New In Color Embellishments AND the new Basic Beige Ribbon. (I forgot to order the cardstock and ink!)

Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper

The thing we always say about Stampin’ Up! designer series paper…It is SO much prettier in person than you think looking at the photos online! I wasn’t too thrilled looking at the online photo of this paper, Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper, but once I opened the package I thought it was really beautiful paper! You’ll like it! Very pretty colors!

Stamp Sets

The three stamp sets I ordered. I’m always looking for more greeting choices. I thought the Simply Said Stamp Set and the Unbounded Love Stamp Set had some useful choices. I just couldn’t pass up the Layers of Beauty Stamp Set (plus the dies and the decorative masks for coloring in the flowers!).

Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder

This embossing folder is a “WHOA!” It’s giant size! Looks rather interesting. I put a piece of cardstock inside so you could see the design.

Ephemera Pack

This is the Saying Something Ephemera Pack. You get two of the same sheets. There are three other ephemera packs to choose from! Great for scrapbooking but also for making easy cards!

Unbounded Love Dies

The Unbounded Love Dies! I think these will be useful dies to own for making frames and labels!

Layers of Beauty Dies

The Layers of Beauty Dies for that big bouquet of flowers that you can color with the Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks which I didn’t photograph and haven’t played with yet.

I also got the new Stampin’ Blends in the In Colors, the Ink Pads, the 12″ x 12″ cardstock because sometimes you want a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper! Maybe there’s something else. And I do know I forgot to order some things but there is plenty of time to catch up! Now to find some time to play with all these pretty new things!

Only 3 more days until the Last Chance Sale begins at Stampin’ Up! on April 9th for the retiring products in the Annual Catalog and the Spring Mini! Not everything is discounted, of course, but a lot of things are in the Annual Catalog. Be sure to check it out as early as you can.

Paper Pumpkin and the Annular Eclipse 2023

Eclipse 2023 Paper Pumpkin Box

Yesterday was an exciting morning in Texas and many other places and surprisingly, Paper Pumpkin helped us see the Eclipse 2023. We had beautiful, perfect weather (after a long, very hot summer!) with clear blue skies. If you had rain or clouds you probably didn’t get to see it.

This was an annular eclipse where the moon blocks the view of the sun from the earth. In a total eclipse, the moon entirely blocks the sun. In this annular eclipse the moon is farther away from the earth so it appears smaller and when it blocks the sun, it doesn’t completely cover the sun which leaves a “ring of fire” around the edge. We didn’t see that here in Houston, but we had about 85% coverage. We could have driven a few hours farther southwest and had better coverage.

Of course we all know you shouldn’t look directly at the sun during an eclipse. We didn’t have the special glasses so we had to use other methods to see the eclipse. First of all, the easiest thing is to look at the sidewalk at the shadows of the leaves from the trees. You can very clearly see the shape of the eclipse.

Eclipse 2023 sidewalk

As time went on there were more and more shadow, in the street, up to our front porch, everywhere! Probably our favorite one was the shadows on the front of the house and the roof.

Eclipse 2023 House

Then my husband was playing around out on the patio in the backyard. I had been working on finishing up some old Paper Pumpkin kits so I had some empty boxes on the dryer inside the box door ready to go out in the recycle bin. My husband grabbed one and did the old pinhole trick of punched a small hole in the box and focusing it on a box on the ground. I realized he was using a Paper Pumpkin box so I got the idea to post it on my blog!

Eclipse 2023 Paper Pumpkin Box

Then he also brought out my mother’s old colander that I still use and that made a fantastic artistic pattern!

Eclipse 2023 Colander

I think this is really cool! Of course, the photo isn’t as sharp as it was seeing it in person but you get the idea!

Eclipse 2023 Colander Art

That was our exciting morning of tracking the eclipse from around 10:30 am to the maximum eclipse around noon, and then ending around 1:30 pm. Besides viewing the eclipse, it was fun to see other neighbors outside and get to chat with them! Usually we are inside our airconditioned houses, but as I said the weather yesterday was perfect for being outside!

So next time there is an eclipse, grab an empty Paper Pumpkin box and let it help you see the shapes of the eclipse without endangering your eyes!
