Thinking of You Oval Window Card

Thinking of You Oval Window Card

This Thinking of You Oval Window Card could be used for many occasions, not just “thinking of you”. We often are looking for a masculine card, which this one could be categorized under, but it could be for anyone for any occasion.

However, since we are only two days away from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog changeover, I wanted to use a bit of old and a bit of new to make this card!  And what could be better for “old” than the classic Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set! If you are new to Stampin’ Up!, you might not realize how long Lovely As a Tree has been in the catalog! It’s been there as long as I’ve been a Demonstrator and that’s getting to be pretty long! It will be a dark stamping day if they ever retire this stamp set!  It’s not referred to as “classic” for nothing because it just is SO versatile, and that’s what we love with our stamp sets, ones that can be used for many types of cards or projects. I’ve made Christmas cards with it (one of my favorite easy cards ever!), sympathy, Father’s Day, birthday, you name it.

For the inside of this card, I stamped the trees with Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White Cardstock and then colored in the leaves and grass with Sponge Daubers and three colors of green ink (Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, and Pear Pizzazz).  If you don’t have the Sponge Daubers, use a piece of a Stamping Sponge or the Aqua Painter. For the sky, I did the same with Soft Sky ink.  The coloring is not meant to be perfect as you can see, but in the end, it all looks good!  I left a bit of white at the bottom for signing the card.  If you wanted to write a note inside, I think you would have to do it on the back of the card or enclose a written letter in the envelope with the card. (Wow!  A letter!  How nice would that be to receive?!)

The card base is Crumb Cake die cut with the largest Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. For “something new” (almost like a wedding!) I used the upcoming Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies.  When the new catalog begins June 1st, you will be able to purchase the stamp set and dies as a Bundle and save 10%.  And from the samples I have seen from Demonstrators during our preorder period here in May, I think you will WANT to have this set!  I LOVE the Andirondack chair and the other lounge chair in the set. Plus there are images and dies to make projects for all four seasons. I die cut this chair out of the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack, a new package of papers you will want to have right away! The card still needed a little something, so I die cut some leaves and stamped with the larger stamp in the set to get the leaf veins. The greeting is in the set.

In case you were wondering, here is one of my favorite and easiest Christmas cards I have ever made! Click HERE to see my card made with Lovely As a Tree and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter!  Some of my customers have also copied and sent this card at Christmas time, too!  It’s just that easy and classic!

Remember, you have today and tomorrow to shop the current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and DON’T FORGET the Occasions Catalog!!!

I hope you were inspired by my old and new mix to make this Thinking of You Oval Window Card! Lovely As a Tree is NOT retiring, so you can order it along with your new products if you like.

Embroidered Flowers on Cardstock Made Into Greeting Cards

Embroidered Cards

The other day one of my very nice customers, Phyllis, sent me the card with the yellow embroidered flowers that she made with a note and the other two papers with the pink and blue embroidered flowers. She said she’d like to see what I would do to them! My first thought was I would frame them, they were all so beautiful! Since we are into cards, though, I thought I would just make these extra embroidered flower cards into greeting cards.

The paper with the blue embroidered flowers just seemed to have an empty space where I could put a greeting so I concentrated on that.  I thought the new Stitched Shapes Framelits would go well with the actual stitching. I love the stitched look those dies give (without having to do any stitching or piercing!). First I played around with cardstock colors to see what would match and finally decided on Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky. Her floss seems to be varigated colors so that’s why I chose two different colors.

Embroidered Cards Blue

I chose a greeting from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set which I think is a nice greeting, plus it would fit into a nice oval shape. I die cut the greeting with the Layering Ovals Framelits DiesThe greeting is layered on a piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and then layered on a piece of Soft Sky cardstock die cut with the scalloped oval in the same Layering Ovals Framelits Dies pack. The card is made by layering the embroidered piece on top of Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky for the card base. I think you could also add a small pearl or rhinestone in the center of each flower and maybe some sequins adhered randomly to take up a little of the open space, but I wouldn’t want to distract from the pretty embroidery. Sometimes less is more!

For the pink embroidered flowers I went through the same process of choosing cardstock colors. As it turned out, I thought Rose Red and Pirouette Pink worked best with the thread. Then I even wondered if a pop of Basic Black would work. I think maybe it does, but I like the Rose Red and Pink the best.Embroidered Cards Pink

Embroidered Cards Pink and Black

Since I had first thought of framing these pretty embroidered flowers, I happened to remember a card I made way back in the beginning of my stamping with an oval as a frame. I used the largest oval in the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies to cut out a frame to place over her embroidered piece. I think maybe you could also emboss the oval frame if the design didn’t take away from the embroidery.

Embroidered Cards Oval Frame

It’s nice to see someone doing something different with her cards and yet you can still use Stampin’ Up! cardstock, and accessories to enhance the design.  A greeting could also be added to these cards, something smaller and simple since the pink embroidery takes up more space. But just a plain card without a greeting is always good to have on hand for those personal notes you want to write.

Stampin’ Up! actually has a Christmas kit of cards on which to do some stitching on the Clearance Rack, the Stitched with Cheer Project KitIf you would like to incorporate some stitching on your cards and get some early Christmas cards made, check out this kit! It’s quite the deal, on sale for 60% off the original price!  Watch the video below to see it!

I hope you will be inspired by Phyllis’s idea to make cards with beautiful embroidery. She says this is her “go to and easy” card to make. Although I have done all kinds of needlework in years past, needles and thread are not my thing any more so for me stamping is much easier! It’s great we can see all kinds of styles of cardmaking and crafting and creativity! Leave a comment below if you have any other ideas for Phyllis’s cards or tell us about any different kinds of cards you make.

Owl Punch Cats Sitting on a Wall

Owl Punch Cats Sitting on a Wall

One of my dear stamping friends sent me a picture of a card the other day with five cats sitting on a wall, all made with the famous Stampin’ Up! Owl Builder Punch!  She said “You have to make this!”  Here is my own version of Owl Punch cats sitting on a wall! It was fun to make!

In order to have a little bit of sky, I used Marina Mist for the card base. The wall is made with Smokey Slate card stock embossed with the Big Shot and the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.  I cut it down a little to fit on the card. I also sponged on some Craft Whisper White Ink Pad (retiring soon, low inventory) for a little look of clouds in the sky. For the cats, I found scraps of designer paper and punched out the owl body shape and cut off the feet! You can just cut the tail by hand, but I just kind of slid my Owl Punch over to the side and punched after I could “see” the tail inside by punch. Since I couldn’t fit all five cats on the wall, I put one on the ground.  And if you like, you can draw in some whiskers showing from the back with a black marker.

The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Now that punch makes pointy ends, but somehow I decided to slide the punch over and make a small banner punch in each end.

The Owl Punch is retiring this year, so don’t miss out on getting yours!  It is one of the most creative punches we have ever had, I would say! Thanks to my friend Iska for sending me this fun idea!  She knows how much I have liked the Owl Punch over the years!

Watercolored Die Cut Medallion Card

Watercolored Die Cut Medallion Card

Did you know you can watercolor the medallion die cuts in the Eastern Palace Suite to make a pretty card? Although the Eastern Palace Suite obviously has that Eastern design look to it, I think you can use parts of the suite to make cards and projects without that Eastern look to it by changing the colors or using just certain elements of the design. I saw an example of an Artisan Design Team member, I think from Germany, who had watercolored on Watercolor Paper and then made the Eastern Medallions die cuts into that paper without cutting them out separately. If you are on my mailing list for my Stamping With Karen newsletter then you saw the card I made like that in my newsletter.  (If you are NOT on my mailing list, please join us and sign up in the red box on the top right side of my blog today!)

Yesterday when I first began the watercoloring, which I did on Shimmery White Cardstock rather than the Watercolor Paper, I didn’t care for my first try. But since there are no mistakes in stamping, I just kept that piece and die cut this medallion you see on this card.  Instead of leaving it embedded in the paper, I snipped the tiny connecting edges to release the die cut from the paper. Then today I was able to use it on a new card!

To make this card, I used two of the new In Colors for 2017-2019, Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist for the card base and first layer.  For the top layer of the card, I used a piece of Whisper White and stamped just a small image from the Eastern Beauty Photopolymer Stamp Set randomly with the pink and green inks.  The card needed a little something besides just the medallion. The ribbon is the 1/2″ Finely Woven Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon.  You can tie it all the way around the backside of the card, but if you would like to save a few inches, just adhere the ends to the back of the card after stretching it across the front.

The medallion was already watercolored on Shimmery White Cardstock with my Aqua Painter and three reinkers put into the lids of the ink pads:  Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. When dry, the paper was die cut with the Big Shot and the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.

The greeting is in the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and is one I love. What a great phrase to send to people!  I stamped it with Powder Pink and die cut with the smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I wasn’t sure it would be big enough but I also didn’t want to cover up much of the pretty medallion.  Fortunately, if you work on the placement a bit, that die is just big enough! I didn’t think it even needed another layer behind it.

Remember, the Eastern Palace Suite is available in either the Starter Bundle or the Premier Bundle only until May 31.  And each Bundle has it’s own FREE GIFT! Check the lists carefully to see the contents so you get what you need.

There are lots of possibilities with this Eastern Palace Suite!  If you think this is something you like, I’d urge you to get it in the preorder before May 31 so you get the Very Vanilla free gift in each Bundle!

Baby Card For a Baby Boy With Bunnies

Baby Card For a Baby Boy With Bunnies

You might have thought the Basket Bunch Photopolymer Stamp Set was only for Easter or spring, but no!  The bunny in the stamp set is just too cute and I think is perfect for a baby card! A baby card for a baby boy with bunnies just by adding some blue touches or pink for a girl…or whatever pleases you.

This easy card starts with a card base of Soft Suede Cardstock, layered with a piece of Soft Sky Cardstock.  Of course you could use any color that you like or that goes with a theme of a party or baby shower or with a gift. Then on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock I randomly stamped the bunny in Soft Suede ink.  I could have colored in every bunny, but of course that would be a lot of coloring! I thought it would be fun to just color one like a spotlight on one bunny!

To color the bunny, I used the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils. I love the Watercolor Pencils even from back in my early Stampin’ Up! days with the original watercolor pencils.  These current Watercolor Pencils are even better because they are in Stampin’ Up! colors. Just color lightly with the pencils, then go over the coloring with a Blender Pen. This softens and blends the color. I love using the Blender Pens!

For a little greeting on the card, I turned to one of my most useful stamp sets, Teeny Tiny WishesI’m SO glad this stamp set is not retiring! I have used it a lot over the years that it has been out. I prefer the wood-mount set with small images like these small words and phrases. The greeting is stamped on Whisper White and punched with the Classic Label PunchNow to make a layer, just adhere this greeting to a larger piece of Soft Suede and then cut around it ….or vice versa, cut the greeting piece smaller after punching out a layer of the Soft Suede Cardstock. For a little accent, I used the little hearts in the Subtles Enamel Shapes package. I believe the twine I used is retired but I had it in my stash!

There is only about a week left of the Retiring Products being available from Stampin’ Up! so don’t delay if there are products you want!  Here is the math on the Basket Bunch Stamp Set and the Basket Builder Framelits Dies:  Stamp set on sale for $16.80, Basket Builder Framelits Dies on sale $15.50 so the total for the stamp set and dies would be $32.30. The Basket Bunch Bundle actually costs $46.75 so in this case it would be cheaper to buy the stamp set and dies separately!  Quite a savings for a stamp set that has a very useful and versatile basket stamp and die, flowers and dies, chicks, bunny and bow that can be used in SO many projects!  As long as you can look up a product in the Online Store, it is still available, so that is a good way to check rather than look at the list or wonder.

I hope you enjoyed this way to use the bunny in the Basket Bunch Stamp Set to make a baby card for a baby boy or girl or maybe even just a young child’s birthday.

Ways to Use the Stampin’ Up! Owl Punch

Owl Punch for a Baby Card

There are so many ways to use the Owl Punch by Stampin’ Up! and for those reasons I really hate to see the Owl Punch on the Retiring Products list. In looking back, I see that it has been around for many years, but the punch is so versatile I cannot believe that we will not have it available soon.  If you do not already own the Owl Punch, I would urge you to grab one before they are gone. I’m sure most serious stampers already have one, but if you are new, you may not be famiiar with all the creativity this one punch affords.

The baby card I have posted above has been one of my most popular cards! All I did was punch out the portion on the Owl Builder Punch that would be the chest area of the owl. Yes, you can make baby clothes out of this piece of the Owl Punch! Click the link or the card photo above to go to the blog post for more information.

Owl Punch Anniversary Card

Here’s an anniversary card I made using the Owl Punch to make a couple of loving owls in silhouette! And I can’t tell you how many times I have punched those little hearts to use on various cards and projects!

Owl Punch Monsters Birthday Card

The Owl Punch can also be used to make monsters for a birthday card! Just add some arms and scary faces!  Click the link or the photo to go to my blog post for details.

If you have made a great project with the Owl Punch, click the “Leave a Reply” button at the top of this post and leave a comment! I’d love to hear!

These are just a few examples of ways to use the retiring Owl Builder Punch, and I can’t begin to tell you about all the creative ideas I have seen out there using the Owl Punch.  Do a search online and you will find them.  If you are so inspired, be sure to purchase the Owl Punch on the Retiring List before it goes away May 31.

An Easy Card Design For a Beginning Stamper

An Easy Card a Beginning Stamper Can Make

Sometimes new stampers have a difficult time knowing exactly how to design a card they want to make, so here is an easy card design for a beginning stamper. It is just a simple card with layered paper, a piece of ribbon for an embellishment and a stamped greeting layered on another color. Since this cardstock is a dark color, you probably will want to layer a piece of Whisper White cardstock on the inside and maybe a strip of matching designer paper on the Whisper White or a small stamped image. This card design may be simple but any recipient of this card will think it is beautiful and that you are so creative!

To make this card, I wanted to use the new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (144137). If you look on the back of the package, every package of designer paper, as well as the catalog, lists the coordinating colors for the paper. One was Tranquil Tide Cardstock (144246) so I chose that to go with this patterned paper. It’s not necessary, but just to help the designer paper stand out a bit from the cardstock, I layered it on a piece of Whisper White. An easy way to embellish a card is just to place a strip of ribbon, in this case, the Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon (144136) and then tie just a knot around the ribbon.  Just use a separate piece of ribbon rather than try to tie a knot in the ribbon on the card.

To see another card using this same simple card design, click HERE to view an easy masculine card I made with a layer of designer paper on a card base and a different kind of ribbon embellishment, the Kraft Rope Trim, plus a greeting.

The greeting is stamped on a piece of Whisper White from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set (143726) with Tranquil Tide Ink, then punched with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. I also punched another circle of Tranquil Tide Cardstock with the 2″ Circle Punch. The Big Shot and all our dies are terrific but basic punches are the easiest and quickest!

A more experienced stamper and one with lots of supplies could even embellish this card a little more, but for a beginner a simple layered card with a bit of ribbon and a greeting is just fine! This card is an easy design for a beginning stamper or anyone and certainly a quick design, so try it out and let me know in the comments if it worked for you! Just click on “Leave a Reply” at the top of this blog post.

A Quick and Easy Card Layout For All-Occasions

A Quick and Easy Card Layout For All-Occasions

If you need a quick and easy card layout that you can use for an all-occasion card or any occasion really, this card fills the bill! Just make a card base with some matching designer series paper from Stampin’ Up!, add a greeting and you’ve got it!

To make this easy card, I started with a card base of one of the new In Colors, Powder Pink (144244). For a card base, just cut a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock in half (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) and then fold in half for your card. Just for a little extra, I made a slightly smaller layer of Whisper White to go on top of the card base with a layer of the new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (144131) on top of the white. This new paper stack is 12″ x 12″ so you will have lots of beautiful papers to use!

For a little embellishment, I tied a new ribbon, the 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon in Powder Pink (144134) around the designer paper layer before I adhered it to the Whisper White. When you add ribbon, you don’t really have to have it go all the way around the layer, just adhere the ends to the other side.

The greeting is a stamp from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. This is a stamp set being carried over from last year’s catalog and I’m so glad because it is a beautiful set! You will see it in the Retiring Products section in the Bundles because all the bundles of matching stamp set and dies are retiring.  However, you will be able to purchase the stamp set and thinlits dies separately in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. If you want to save 10%, get the Bundle now before May 31st! To make it extra fancy, I layered the greeting, die cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dieson to a Powder Pink oval and then onto a scalloped oval of Silver Glimmer Paper. Then just adhere the whole layered greeting over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

If you don’t have a Big Shot and dies, you could just cut or punch your own greeting and layers and adhere to the card.  There is always a work-around.

When you need to make a quick and easy card, this is a layout you can use, or even if you want to make several cards at once to have on hand. Make them assembly-line fashion and you will have many cards in the same design very quickly!

Eastern Palace Suite Card With Gold Stickers & Medallion Thinlits

Eastern Palace Suite Card With Gold Stickers & Medallion Thinlits

I think the two favorite things of everyone in the Eastern Palace Suite of products, an early catalog release from Stampin’ Up! during the month of May, are the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies and the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers. Instead of hoarding them (tempting!), I used the largest Gold Vinyl Sticker for the background of this medallion on this Eastern Palace Suite Card With Gold Stickers & Medallion Thinlits.

The card base is the new Tranquil Tide Cardstock, one of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colors.  It is one of three new In Colors you can get in one of the Suite Bundles, both in the ink pads and cardstock. For the card layer, I used a piece of Very Vanilla, but you could also use Whisper White.  These vinyl stickers are  high quality! They are not flimsy, they are sturdy and easy to handle…and sticky, so you want to make sure you get them in the right place! Next I cut a piece of Gold Foil to go in the center underneath the medallion die cut.

The Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies are some of the prettiest you could have and offer so many possibilities the way they are designed.  Some cut the shape all the way out, some do not, so you have so many creative ways to use them.  And you can mix and match a lot of the pieces. The Layering Circles  Framelits Dies work great with this set.

The greeting is from another set and die cut with the Layering Oval Framelits Dies. The greeting is stamped with the Tranquil Tide Ink and the scalloped layer is a die cut piece of Gold Foil.

This was really an easy card for looking so elegant and fancy! Remember, you can choose from two bundles of new products in the Eastern Palace Suite during May, before the new catalog comes out June 1st. You also get a Very Vanilla FREE GIFT in each one!  If you are a new stamper or do not own a Big Shot (yet!), just choose the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle that comes with the NEW Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes as your free gift!  If you have a Big Shot, then you will surely want the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle that has the Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies.

Be the first kid on the block to own some new Stampin’ Up! products ahead of everyone else!

Easy Birthday Card With Die Cut Greeting

Easy Birthday Card With Die Cut Greeting

This is an easy birthday card to make with a big die cut greeting on the front. One of the new products in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Catalog is the Happy Birthday Thinlit that die cuts “Happy Birthday” all in one piece.  The designer paper is the reverse side of the paper I put on the card I made yesterday in this post. That’s all there is to this card!  So easy!

The card base is made with Pool Party cardstock, one of the coordinating colors with the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. I used this beautiful floral print for a layer on the card. The greeting is die cut from Calypso Coral cardstock, but I felt like it needed some kind of layer behind it.  I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock, but that didn’t seem to be enough. Then I cut a larger layer of Calypso Coral to go behind it. Usually I don’t like the off-kelter style of layering, but somehow the layers turned out this way on this card and I liked it! Or at least I thought it was fine for this card!  That helped the die cut stand out from the busy print background without  taking away from the beautiful paper. Like I said yesterday, just keep playing with your card or project if you aren’t satisfied with it, and when you get it, you will know it!

This card could probably be further embellished in many ways, but I decided to keep it super simple and easy because we often need a birthday card in a hurry.  This one would be perfect to make under those circumstances, although it would be better to have already made up in your stash! This Happy Birthday Thinlit Die was one I had seen online and thought was very cute in the samples, so I was happy it was on the preorder list for Demonstrators and was one of the first new products I wanted to use!

When the new catalog ordering begins June 1st, check out this Happy Birthday Thinlit Die (143700) so you, too, can make some quick and easy birthday cards!

Easy Thank You Card With Delightful Daisy

Easy Thank You Card With Delightful Daisy

It was like Christmas here last night when UPS finally delivered my Stampin’ Up! preorder – new products coming in the Stampin’ Up! catalog for you in June! Not that I ordered everything (we just had limited choices for our preorder and I couldn’t even order all of that!) but what I got was exciting!

I quickly made this card with the Delightful Daisy Suite. The card base is Calypso Coral, one of the coordinating colors of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. I actually had the flower print pattern on the other side of this paper picked out to make the card. I love the flower prints in this package of paper! But for some reason, maybe because I was in a hurry and had to leave for an appointment, I just could not get it to come together. This is the lesson:  just keep playing, you will get it!! I tried all sorts of placements, colors, etc. and it just didn’t please me. I happened to look on the other side of the paper and there was THIS pattern!  I laid that down, put down the greeting, grabbed the punched daisies, and there it was!  Love it!

The new Daisy Punch punches a large daisy!  I think I will like punching two daisies and then layering them together. I put a Stampin’ Dimensional in between the two daisies and stamped the center with a stamp in the set, Daisy Delight.  I also stamped two leaves from the set, you get the inside color and the outline of the leaf with two stamps.  Then I just cut them out by hand with my Paper Snips.  The greeting also comes in the stamp set along with another nice little phrase.

While you are waiting for your new catalog, don’t forget the Retiring Products and the Clearance Rack! If you are interested in the Eastern Palace Suite of products, be sure to order during May so you get the free gift! And I think you might want to put this Delightful Daisy Suite on your Wish List for the new catalog!

Make a Sunflower Card Using the Eastern Medallions Dies

Eastern Palace Medallion Sunflower CardIf you purchase the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle and start playing with all the pieces, you will find that this Bundle has incredible creative potential. Who would think with something called “Eastern Palace” that you could make a beautiful sunflower with the Eastern Medallion Dies?

To make this sunflower card I decided to make a woodgrain background on the Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the whole card front with the Hardwood Wood-Mount Stamp.  This is a large background stamp, and I recommend getting the wood-mount with background stamps because it is just easier to have that large stamp already mounted on the wood block when you want to use it.

Instead of stamping the “regular” way with a background stamp, I recommend, placing the stamp face up on your table, inking with the ink pad, and then placing the card on the stamp. Rub with your fingers to transfer the ink to the card.  Cover with a piece of scrap paper if you want to keep ink off your fingers. I love these big background stamps!

To make the sunflower, use the die cut and Big Shot. The interesting thing about a lot of these dies is that they do not cut all the way through, which is a good design element for certain things, and if you want it separate, just snip the points where the die cut is still attached.

I just needed to snip the tiny bit in between the points (petals) with my Paper Snips, a great pair of scissors for this job!

For the flower center, I used Chocolate Chip Cardstock for the top design and Early Espresso for the contrast underneath. You can really just make this center with whatever dies you like, maybe just one layer if that is all you want. The Layering Circle Framelits Dies are really handy to have if you purchase this Premier Bundle or even if in June you purchase just the Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies. For the dies that do not cut all the way through, you can use a circle die to cut out the piece to use separately.

During the month of May, you can purchase one of two Bundles in this Eastern Palace Suite.  I recommend the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle because you get EVERYTHING in it, even a FREE GIFT of the new Very Vanilla THICK Cardstock and a package of Very Vanilla Envelopes. If you prefer or if you are a newer stamper, you might like the smaller Bundle, the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle, just as well, to get your started.  It also comes with a FREE GIFT, a package of the new Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes.  Check out both Bundles and see which one is for you!  Remember, these products WILL be available in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog, but they will not all be bundled together except for the stamp set and dies. And no free gift! Get your Bundle by May 31.
