This card was made and sent to me by one of my dearest friends (and the person who got me into this Stampin’ Up! world many years ago!) as a thank you card for the birthday gifts I sent her. The card is made with the beautiful Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. It is available only during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase. Honestly, I am surprised this paper is still available (knock on wood) with many products being so popular and selling out or being backordered.
The interesting thing about this Botanical Butterfly paper is that one side is a colored print, mostly butterflies, but a couple sheets are just a monochromatic floral design. All the other sides are black and white designs of one kind or another. And it is FREE! Some of the butterflies can be punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punchalthough unfortunately, this punch is backordered right now. Perhaps it will be back in stock in early April.
On this card, made by my friend Jan, she used one of the black and white paper designs of flowers and butterflies and colored in just the butterfly with Stampin’ Blendsmarkers. There is some Wink of Stella glimmer added to the butterfly too, which you “might” be able to notice in the photo of the card now that you know it is there! I just love using the Wink of Stella just for a little jazzing up!
Jan also said in her note that she was having a lot of fun with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.On this card, you can see she used two rectangles, one black, and one Calypso Coral to frame the colored butterfly! Then she added a greeting with the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set (retired) and Bitty Banners Framelits Dies (retired).
It’s so fun to receive a real card in the mail, especially from a friend I don’t get to see very often. We should all be reminded to send more cards as we make them! #makeacardsendacard And this friend always makes beautiful cards that usually have that simple, elegant look to them!
If you don’t want to miss out on getting this Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper FREE during Sale-A-Bration, be sure to put in your Stampin’ Up! order of $50 or more soon! Remember, a couple of new items were added to Sale-A-Bration from which to choose. If you spend $100 or more, you can choose one of the higher value items instead of two $50 items. Your choice! They’re all good! Then get busy and send a beautiful card like this Botanical Butterfly Thank You Card to a special friend of yours!
Beginning today, there are 3 more items to choose from during Sale-A-Bration 2019, the 2nd Release. This is about the halfway point of the great promotion called Sale-A-Bration by Stampin’ Up! With every $50 you spend, you can choose a free Sale-A-Bration product. With a $100 purchase you have a couple of choices for one more valuable item instead of two $50 items.
The new items are a stamp set calledAll Adorned, a great stamp set to use with the Stamparatus, a new embossing folder called Country Floral, and with a $100 purchase, there is a beautiful choice, the Painted Seasons Bundle. This Bundle comes with the Painted Seasons Stamp Set and the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper. This is really a beautiful set! And in March you can purchase the coordinating dies separately.
Watch the Stampin’ Up! video to see this Bundle!
Here is a Stampin’ Up! video about the All Adorned Stamp Set and how fun it is to use it with the Stamparatus!
Keep these new releases in mind when you choose your Sale-A-Bration free items with your $50 or $100 or more Stampin’ Up! orders! They are available starting TODAY! If there is something you really want, don’t delay. Sometimes there are backorders!
Sale-A-Bration is the biggest promotion Stampin’ Up! has during the year and the one that everyone gets the most excited about, because who doesn’t like free stuff like this Precious Parcel Card Kit?! With every $50 you spend on any Stampin’ Up! products, you may choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! This promotion goes on through the end of March and a few new SAB items to choose from will be available February 15th.
One of the choices this year in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is this Precious Parcel Card Kit. It makes eight beautiful cards, four each of two designs. And they are unusual cards with the special card that is inserted in the slot on the front of the card where you can write or stamp a note or greeting plus the card actually opens with plenty of room for a personal greeting.
Everything is included in the kit and adhesive strips are already applied to the inside of the card. I have to say this is probably the easiest card kit I have ever put together and it looks so nice when finished! The only hard part is remembering to tie on the little twine bow through the front holes of the card before adhering the folded portion of the card! But even then I was able to reach inside and insert the twine through those poked holes! And if not, I could have just tied the bow and glued it to the front! The little gold foil accents to look like metal pieces for the corners of the card as so cute. And I love the little clip and stamp that is attached to the inserted card in the “mailbox”. The whole thing is very cute and I loved making these cards!
This Precious Parcel Card Kit has been very popular so if you are planning to order and really want this kit, you might consider getting it soon so that it doesn’t go on backorder just when you want it. This and the Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets are both in danger of backorder. Might not happen, but both of these items are really great!
If you would like something where you just sit down and make beautiful cards with no planning, no getting out supplies, then choose this Precious Parcel Kit with your $50 or more purchase during Sale-A-Bration!
The stamp set to make this Hello Cupcake Birthday Cardcan be yours FREE during Sale-A-Bration! This is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year since the early days of Stampin’ Up! Usually, a special promotion doesn’t have a history behind it!
Until March 31, just spend $50 on any Stampin’ Up! products and then choose a FREE product in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure! This Hello Cupcake Stamp Set is one of the popular choices! Just think of all the cute cards you could make with this cupcake! I really like the greetings and the font, too.
To make my card I used Blushing Bride Cardstock for the card base. Next is a layer of Whisper White on which I stamped the cupcake. The whole cupcake is actually three pieces….the cupcake wrapper, a bottom piece of the frosting, and the top of the cupcake. I stamped the cupcake wrapper in So Saffron and the frosting in Blushing Bride. I stamped some sprinkles in Melon Mambo and colored them in with a Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker. And to fill up space around the cupcake, I stamped the teeny little flowers in the set.
On the side panel of Blushing Bride, I stamped the greeting three times with Blushing Bride ink using the Stamparatus! When you use the Stamparatus, you can move the stamping plate down one hinge at a time and get perfect placement of the greeting all lined up. After stamping three greetings, there wasn’t enough space for another one so I just stamped three flowers at the bottom. Then there is a small strip of Soft Seafoam Cardstock to match some of the Soft Seafoam stamped flowers!
The Stamparatus would actually be a good thing to purchase during Sale-A-Bration, plus one other item (because the Stamparatus is $49) to easily earn a Free SAB item.
What’s more fun than shopping for things you want to buy and then getting to choose FREE things?!
Do you “love what you do” like this guy on this frog card? When I went to stamp this frog on the unicycle, he looked happy and like he is loving what he is doing! Just like you would love what you do if you became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and became part of the Stampin’ Up! family! Join now during Sale-A-Bration for some special deals!
If you would like to own this fun froggy stamp set, just spend $50 on Stampin’ Up! products (believe me, it’s easy!) and choose this So Hoppy Together Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure! Spend another $50 and choose another free SAB product!
To make this card I used a card base of Garden Green Cardstock layered with a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock. The frog is stamped on Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Ink so I could color in with my Stampin’ Blends markers. Just use a couple different greens to color the frog. The butterfly stamp also comes in the set. The greeting, however, is from the Love What You Do Stamp Set. For a little bling, I added some sequins in the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins. I’ve been adding sequins a lot lately, but when they already have adhesive on them, they are so easy to use I can hardly help myself!
This is a project I made the other day with another of the frogs in the So Hoppy Together Stamp Set. You can use the frogs to make treats and lots of things!
I also thought this card was appropriate for the New Year! Think about the greeting “love what you do” and make sure you are loving what you are doing….at least some of the time! This Hoppy Frog looks like he is happy and living a fun life, so should we! And if you ever wanted to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, now is the time, during Sale-A-Bration!
Shop the Year-End Closeout! Today is the last day to take advantage of this Stampin’ Up! Year-End Closeout of retiring Holiday Catalog products and some discounted surplus products.
And tomorrow…..tomorrow…tomorrow is the first day of the new Occasions Catalog! January 3rd! Shout it from the rooftops! Also the first day of Sale-A-Bration! Catalogs will go live online if you haven’t received yours yet.
About a week ago I posted about this video, the music being the theme song for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in November in Orlando. For those of us who have been to Stampin’ Up! conventions, the theme song is new and exciting every year and usually sticks in your head forever! I thought this video was really cute!
Yesterday I saw that other Demonstrators had pulled up some past Stampin’ Up! videos with theme songs that we loved! I thought you would enjoy seeing them, too, ….and perhaps singing along! This one was certainly a favorite!! This was made at the Stampin’ Up! Home Office in Riverton, UT outside Salt Lake City. You can see the offices and also where and how your orders ship! Really fun video! And lots of these Stampin’ Up! employees have plenty of musical talent!
And this one, a highlight reel from Convention 2013 (I was there!) with the “Be The Difference” theme song.
And the one from Convention 2011 – Grow (I was at that one, too!)
Besides listening to the music, these highlight reels might show you how much fun it is to be a part of Stampin’ Up! Click on THIS LINK to learn about joining Stampin’ Up!
The story about the “Love, Live, Share It” video I posted first is this from Stampin’ Up! If you enjoy this music, you might like to purchase the song by itself or the whole collection of Stampin’ Up! music. (expired) The money goes to supporting organizations that help with autism, in keeping with Stampin’ Up!’s Making a Difference program #sudifferencemaker.
From Stampin’ Up!: “Each year we offer a special, limited-time product or promotion dedicated to supporting a designated cause versus a specific charity. The money raised from this limited-time product or promotion is then donated to organizations that support the cause in North America, the South Pacific, and in Europe.
This year, our employee Heart of Stampin’ Up! recipient, Rett Christensen, proposed making our past and present theme songs available for purchase and donating the proceeds to Autism organizations. Having a son with Autism, Rett understands how important it is to support the community.
So thanks to Rett, you can own a piece of Stampin’ Up! history and make a difference in the lives of those with Autism at the same time!
Dates: November 13–December 31, 2018
Two options:
Full Collection of Stampin’ Up! Theme Songs – $15 USD*
Single Love, Live & Share It Today – 30-year anniversary song – $5 USD*
Stampin’ Up! will donate 100 percent of the funds raised to the following Autism organizations: Autism Speaks, Autism Speaks Canada, The National Autistic Society, Autism Europe, Autism New Zealand, Autism Spectrum (ASPECT), and the Japan Autism Society
Fun fact: Rett was also a primary contributor in composing Love, Live & Share It Today (along with a group of other Stampin’ Up! employees).
*There are NOT country-specific prices for this offering. During the purchasing process, the amount will be automatically translated into what the current exchange rates are.”
Just go to THIS PAGE to find out about purchasing these Stampin’ Up! songs!
Sad, if you ask me, that it is time for the Holiday Catalog to come to an end! Stampin’ Up! is letting us know what products are retiring so you have a chance to get them before they are gone and also discounting some surplus products. Time to shop to your heart’s delight here near the end of the Holiday Catalog. Of course, you can still order what is available from the Holiday Catalog until January 2, but some of these products will only be “while supplies last”.
This was the 30th Anniversary theme song, “Love, Live, & Share It Today” for the recent Stampin’ Up! OnStage convention in Orlando in November. One of the composers was Rett Christensen, a Stampin’ Up! employee, who also won the employee Heart of Stampin’ Up! award. His son has autism and he suggested making the past and present theme songs available for purchase and donating the proceeds to Autism organizations.
Whether or not you would like to purchase this theme song or others, please enjoy this very cute video!!
No stamping for me until I get these unpacked Christmas decorations hung on the tree or placed somewhere around the house! I have way too many but most have memories attached! In my wildest dreams I’d like to make some scrapbook pages about my Christmas decorations! Someday!
It’s Cyber Monday and the Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza is going on today with 10% off Annual Catalog Stamp Sets and Kits! Today is the last day of the two-day sale. Tomorrow and the next day will be Tools & Ink. Quantities are limited so shop early!
Here is a Christmas card I made using the Hearts Come Home stamp set, which is on the Online Extravaganza today. The card base is Real Red and I decided to emboss it with the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder in the Holiday Catalog. I could have left the card plain, it looked fine the way it was.
I did cut a circle with the Layering Circle Framelits Dies and layered that on the largest scalloped circle die of Old Olive. Then I stamped on the circle with a house and some trees plus a greeting and Santa and his sleigh (who could resist putting that on there!). The trees I stamped and then stamped again without re-inking for a few to look more like a little forest. (Also, I was covering up a little stray ink spot!) For a finishing touch, I added a little white bow with the Whisper White 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon.
Look through the stamp sets and the cardmaking kits offered on the Online Extravaganzatoday and see if there are any you have been wanting or “need”! Add on any other products you want as well.
