For some years now, some states have been offering a Back -to-School Sales Tax holiday on certain school supplies. The qualifying items may vary quite a bit from one state to another, so you can check the chart above to see if your state is included and the dates. Also check your local news for more information. They are likely doing a story about it and explaining which items are tax-free for the official dates.

Not a real long list, but some products you might like to stock up on and save the sales tax! And if you have school kids, you know they will be borrowing your craft supplies for their school projects!!
The Sales Tax Holiday for Texas starts today, August 7 and runs through Sunday, August 9. Whether you are shopping for your kids or not, check what YOU might need as well because you know we always are in need of more adhesive and some of the other products listed!
