Of course don’t miss ANY punch and Scallop Circle Punches are always fun! And how many Fun Flowers have we made out of paper and fabric? The Fun Flowers Bigz L Die is great to have. Make some beautiful fabric flower pins and sell them! Merry Minis Punch Pack – I certainly love the little star! And the little ornament shape and tree are perfect for your cards right now! The Paper Doily Sizzlits Die is gorgeous to make although it takes a little patience sometimes to perhaps poke out the little pieces! But sometimes you cover part of it with another layer and don’t need to punch out all the pieces! It’s beautiful to have in your collection. Wisteria Wonder Chevron Ribbon – kind of like punches, you might as well have it! The Chevron ribbon in the different colors is beautiful and great to use. And for you My Digital Studio fans, another download, especially on sale, is always welcome – Think Back Photobook Templates. This download has questions to ask parents, grandparents, anyone, to find out about their life and get the memories flowing so that they can be recorded for your family history. I can’t tell you how valuable and treasured this information will be to you when your loved ones are no longer with you.

If you don’t have My Digital Studio, you can do a 30-Day Free Trial OR you can go ahead and purchase the My Digital Studio Software because it is only $19.95. It really is quite a deal.  You get the software plus a TON of content to use in your projects.  And it’s not just about digital scrapbooking AT ALL! Fun Making Christmas Gift Boxes

Extra-Large Kraft Gift Box with Gift Bow and Tag

‘Tis the season (or almost!) for making pretty gift wrap boxes for the holiday gifts we have shopped for or handmade for our friends and family. Why not get a head start with the Stampin’ Up! Extra-Large Gift Boxes?  They come three in a package and are one of the Weekly Deals, if you order by tonight. Just fold them up into their box shape and start decorating!  It needn’t be elaborate, unless you want it to be. Here I have just adhered pieces of the Season of Style Designer Series Paper to the top and sides of the box.  On the top, I layered it on a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock but the sides are just the designer paper.  And before I put the Christmas tag on, the decorated box could be for any other occasion, not just Christmas! Also on the Weekly Deal, ending Monday November 18, is the Gift Bow Bigz L Die. Grab it for a discount today and you can easily make the double bow like on the top of this box. It probably only took me about ten minutes to decorate this box!  Nothing could be simpler!

For the little tag in the corner of the gift box, I used one of the MANY tags in the Season of Style Designer Journaling Tags package in the Holiday Catalog. I chose one and made a little card to layer it on and stuck it on the top of the box.  Now all I have to do is write the “to” and “from” inside when I see what gift is going in the box! Of course I had to add a little bling with two small Rhinestone Jewels on the snowflakes. You can use these die-cut printed tags for scrapbooks, photo albums, even cards.  You’ll enjoy playing with them!

Don’t delay, check out the Weekly Deals ending today! You’ll probably want all the items! But even if you miss the sale, they are still good values to have.

Go to my Stampin’ Up! Online Store and get your order in!  Let me know if you have any questions! From the Home Page of my store, be sure to check all the categories in the left sidebar. Don’t forget the Clearance Rack either!

Modern Medley Bitty Butterfly Card

Leave a reply

Modern Medley Bitty Butterfly Card

I was working on some cards with the Bitty Butterfly Punch, included in the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Bundle  during the month of September. The Butterfly Bundle includes

* Papillon Potpourri Clear-mount stamp set and
* Bitty Butterfly Punch

Save 15% by purchasing the Bundle!

For this card, I used a piece of the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper layered on Whisper White on a card base of Coastal Cabana.  The butterfly is mounted on a piece of Coastal Cabana punched with the Artisan Label Punch. I very lightly stamped it with the lines from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. It just adds a tiny bit of something to the background. Then that punch is layered on a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper on top of a  2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch  in Strawberry Slush.

The butterflies are punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch as well as the larger Elegant Butterfly Punch. I stamped both butterflies with the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge that has the diagonal lines in one direction. I only stamped that once on the Elegant Butterfly.  But on the Bitty Butterfly I stamped the diagonal lines once and for the second time stamped the lines perpendicularly and that made the crossed diagonal lines!  I love how it looks! And a few Rhinestone Jewels add a little bling to the butterfly!  The greeting is from the stamp set A Dozen Thoughts.

Today, as we all remember September 11th, perhaps we should each make a card for someone and send it. It can be to a loved one, to a friend, a neighbor, a teacher, a child, anyone. The act of making the card and sending it will make you feel good today to express your feelings to someone or just to say “hello” or “I’m thinking of you!”. And imagine the good feeling THEY will have in a day or two or three when they receive it as a surprise in their mailbox.

Check out the Butterfly Bundle from Stampin’ Up! today in my Stampin’ Up! Online Store. You’ll find that Bitty Butterfly Punch rather useful as well as the beautiful butterfly stamp set. You can put it on your order tomorrow with the newly available Magnetic Platform, which goes back on sale September 12th.
