This Square Snippets Fabulous Friend Card is made with three of the Square Snippets in the designer series paper by the same name! Although I am a little late ordering this cute designer paper from the Spring Mini Catalog, I’m sure there are a lot of fun ways to use these cut-apart squares in two sizes. Each sheet of paper in the package is composed of cut-apart squares with four sheets of each design. Two have 3″ squares and one group of sheets has 4″ squares. These papers are great for scrapbook pages, too!
This card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base. The background is Garden Green which coordinates with the Square Snippets Designer Series Paper. To give it a little texture and interest, the Garden Green cardstock is embossed with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. This is a good all-purpose embossing folder you can use in lots of ways.
After choosing which three 3″ x 3″ squares I wanted to use on the card, I placed the top and bottom tips of the middle square right at the center of the card. They extend to the very edge of the card but they do fit! Be a little strategic, gluing these down on the card so you can slip them together in proper placement. Then you can go back and stick a little more glue under the loose areas.
The greeting is part of the Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set, the Product of the Month for January 2026. It is stamped in Garden Green ink on Basic White cardstock. It is adhered to a narrow strip of Vellum and the whole strip is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little embellishment, there are five large and small Moody Palette Glossy Dots in white in the Online Exclusives. It’s so fun to place these little gems and jewels on cards!
It will be fun to play with more of these Square Snippets making cards and maybe other projects!
