Merry Christmas to all of you!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your families and friends!
I'm busy and you're busy, but I thought if you were looking for more Christmas ideas for cards, gifts, tags, bags, whatever….I would make it easy for you to search.
Please click HERE or click on any of the Categories in the right-hand column for Christmas….or any others that interest you…OR click on the Archives for probably mostly December in the past years! After you scroll through the page that comes up, just hit the small green words at the very bottom of the page "More Posts from Karen" or "Older Posts from Karen" to go to the remaining pages.
Oh my! I just looked back in the "Archives" all the way back to December 2006….and there was my son's calculus project in Christmas colors back when I started my blog! He's ready to graduate from college now with a degree in Engineering….I guess the calculus and my stamping materials paid off!
And back in December 2007, here are some of those mailboxes that were decorated for gifts for my nieces and nephews! And there's good old Frosty!! (a very old, popular stamp!)

Enjoy!
Stampin' Up! has announced the Stocking Builder Punch #124095 will not carry over from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Stampin' Up! demonstrators and stampers alike have thought up so many creative ideas for using the Stocking Punch, so it really took us by surprise that this punch would not be continued! In fact, once the supply of punches is gone, that will be it. So if you have been thinking about getting this punch, or hoping it would be in the next catalog, you better place your order soon! Here is the link to my store. And don't forget to check the Clearance Rack Blitz!

If you're still needing Christmas card ideas, here are mine! It's an assortment of recently made ones and ones I've made for my blog hoping to get ahead of the game and other ones I've made along the way. It's really more fun this way I think that to have just one design to send! Many of these have been inspired by ones I've seen online by other demonstrators and some I might have made up myself! In spite of being way behind on Christmas preparations, I decided I was going to relax and enjoy making and sending my Christmas cards!
I hope you have time to make a few for some special people! They have to be "worthy", you know, to receive one of your special handmade cards!
Take a few minutes of your busy weekend to look over the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack because I hear some items are going fast! That's why your order must be an Online Order (rather than through me) so that the computer will know if an item is still available at that moment. But let me know if you have any questions!
I've heard that some items sell out from the time they are put in an order (maybe you start an order but don't finish it) until the order is finalized so I think when you finalize an order you may get a prompt that a certain item has sold out. That's why it is urgent that you choose what you want SOON! Santa wants you to be happy!
Tip: I found it is best when I get to the Clearance Rack to choose "Show: All" over on the right side….that's the easiest way to get to see all the items on sale. I find that when I just use the default number of items it doesn't take me past page 10 and there really are a LOT more things!! Or else you have to keep clicking the arrow even though no extra page numbers are shown. If you do "All" items, then you don't have to keep clicking next to go to the next page…..just keep scrolling.
Good luck and have fun shopping!!
Why would I make a Christmas card using Stampin' Up! Tangerine Tango card stock?? It's because Tangerine Tango is quite an important and newsworthy color! Pantone has chosen Tangerine Tango as its top color for 2012 for fashion, beauty and home! And Stampin' Up! already has it! Pantone Color Institute creates color standards that we all use everyday.
So I wondered, in light of this news, if I could create a Christmas card using the unlikely color of Tangerine Tango. This is what I came up with using the beautiful Snow Swirled tree and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder for the Big Shot.
Maybe we'll be seeing a lot of Tangerine Tango in the New Year!
Did you know you can sort by color when you go to my Stampin' Up! Online Store? In the left column at my store, just click "Shop By Color", then choose the color group and then the specific color if you want.
Don't forget to check the Clearance Rack Blitz going on now until Jan. 5!!
Click on the image above or the highlighted link to go directly to the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack on my website to check out the new additions! Nearly 200 new Clearance Rack items are being added to the Online Store at discounts up to 80 percent off retail–while supplies last!
Here are some things that jumped out for me…..LOTS of punches (a few new style), Silver Tinsel Trim (use it this Christmas or any time!), beautiful Botanical Gazette Designer Paper, Candy Cane Big Designer Buttons (and others!), and the Design a House!
Go check it out HERE!! Because it is the Clearance Rack, it has to be an online order, but let me know if you have any questions.
Remember, it's only WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!
It's so easy to make a cute Christmas tag with the Two Tags Die. I just stamped the snowman from "Snow Much Fun", punched him out and adhered him to a Silver Glimmer Paper Scallop Circle. No coloring, simple simple….and beautiful!
If you need any supplies, just shop at my Online Store HERE.
Using this tree from Season of Joy #110384 and the Top Note Die to decorate a gift bag for Christmas is one of the quickest projects I have ever done. Use those shopping bags you accumulate from stores and decorate with your own creative touch! Fancy gift bag for free!

I'm hoping to enjoy stamping some Christmas cards today, so I started with this Z-Fold card using the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set and the beautiful Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series Paper. Today is even Christmas Card Day! The day celebrates Sir Henry Cole, who marketed the first commercial Christmas Card in 1843. So jump on board and let's make some Christmas cards today!
Here is the inside. You can see that the top cover of the card folds back, creating the "z".
I got the idea from a card I saw on our demonstrator website and I changed mine a little bit with the design.
Having the Simply Scored Tool made the scoring real easy on this card.

The elves at Stampin' Up! are very busy getting orders out as quickly as possible for holiday shipping! One demonstrator said the other day that her order shipped so quickly she thought the whole distribution team must have been standing there just waiting for her order to come in!
Here is what Stampin' Up! has to say about Holiday Shipping….
We recommend you place your holiday orders by Wednesday, December 14, 2011 to receive your orders before Christmas. Delivery times will vary depending on where you live; if your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays.
All orders we receive by December 14, 2011, will be picked, packaged, and delivered to our courier in plenty of time to arrive by December 24, 2011. But as you know, we cannot control delivery times; holiday mail volumes are high, and our delivery services encourage customers to ship as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Did you know there is also Expedited Shipping available, just in case? It costs a little extra but sometimes it is what you need. Ask me about it.
Here is the clip of Shelli Gardner on the TODAY SHOW today with Kathie Lee and Hoda! I'm pleased they didn't seem to rush her as much as in the past! And wait until you hear what they said to her at the very end!! Also, notice her local fan club in the background!! :) Shelli always makes us proud!

Is this Petal Cone Die Santa not the cutest thing??!!!! There are many versions online and I copied one of them. We made this in our stamp camp this past weekend and I think everyone loved it. Just imagine having one at each place setting at your holiday dinner either as a place card or filled with candy or treats as a Christmas party favor!
The box is made with the Petal Cone Die #121810 with Real Red card stock. His beard is another cut with the Petal Cone Die but I trimmed just one triangle section and then embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I cut it off about half way so that some of the red box would show for Santa's hat.
The moustache is from the Bird Builder Punch #117191 (the wings!) as are the green holly leaves with part of the stem cut off. Just punch some small circles for the berries and a larger one for Santa's nose.
The Silver Glimmer Paper #124005 hat fur is a little tricky. First punch a little bit out with the Scallop Oval Punch #119856 to get the bottom part, then punch with the Scallop Punch #119854 to get the top edge. Place it on Santa's head where it fits the best. His face is Blushing Bride card stock cut with the Large Oval Punch #119859. I chose to just color in his eyes with a black marker and add the little highlights with our Signo Gel Pen #105021.
The little pom pom on top of his hat is punched from the Boho Blossoms Punch #119858.
Once you sit down to make this Petal Cone Die Santa, you will see that he is very easy and fun. You can change up a lot of the design to make it your own or substitute for what supplies you don't have.
If you need any of these supplies, just contact me or visit my Online Store for all your Stampin' Up! supplies! Still time to get them before Christmas!
Have fun!!!
