At the Leadership Conference in San Antonio last month there were some beautiful Stampin' Up! fabric projects on display. Stampin' Up! doesn't JUST do stamps, ink, and paper right! They do fabric, too!
Dresden Designs Die #125597 and Twitterpated Designer Fabric #125412
Dresden Die and Twitterpated Fabric Pillows
Using the Pleated Satin Ribbon on a quilted pillow
Love these little Twitterpated Designer Buttons #125579
Using the Elegant Bird Bigz Die on a quilted wall hanging
Riding Hood Red Pleated Satin Ribbon for fringe on pillow
Use the Dresden Designs Die for the Big Shot with fabric or with paper!
The Petal Cone Die#121810 can make a beautiful Valentine gift, holding candy or whatever treat you want to put in it. I felt like a school girl decorating this one for Valentine's Day! I just kept sticking on more stuff and hoping I would know when to stop! Isn't that what you remember when you were little and decorating a valentine shoebox for school or making your own valentines? We had our scissors, probably that school paste stuff, construction paper, doilies, and maybe some stickers or those little stars that teachers would put on your paper. Aren't those some of the best memories, making our own cards and gifts for our parents and family?!
I hope you will take some time to have some old-fashioned Valentine fun! Make a Valentine or gift for someone.

Need a Valentine gift? This is the Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned Charm and Chain and the valentine insert that I designed myself. It is so much fun to design your own jewelry by making a little insert for each side of the Simply Adorned Charm.
And you can also design something on the backside of your insert or make another one to show through on the other side of the charm.
Here's the other side using the same Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, a string of rhinestones and an embossed heart from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die.
The Simply Adorned line from Stampin' Up! is going to be discontinued so if you are interested in owning this unique jewelry, be sure to get the pieces you want. My charm is the 1"x1 1/4" Charm #116798 with the Simply Adorned 24" Chain #116800.

Here are just a few of the beautiful displays Stampin' Up! had up at Leadership! Each one is creative, beautiful and exquisite!! You can probably click on the photos to enlarge them.
I've had these lunch box tins in my stash for quite awhile and decided to decorate them with some of my stash of retired designer series papers, rub ons, and ribbons for gifts! The initials are cut using the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine #113439 and the Serif Essentials Alphabet #113464. I find that it is easiest to use the Anywhere Glue Sticks #104045 on a project like this. The rectangular tip fits right into the corner of the paper. I always apply glue sticks to both the tin and the paper for a better adhesion.
While you are on Christmas break, why not look around at your craft supplies and see what you can make with what you have!
Using this tree from Season of Joy#110384 and the Top Note Die to decorate a gift bag for Christmas is one of the quickest projects I have ever done. Use those shopping bags you accumulate from stores and decorate with your own creative touch! Fancy gift bag for free!
Ink tree from Season of Joy in Old Olive. Wipe off star at top and use Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to color in. "Huff" on stamp to remoisten and stamp on Whisper White Top Note die cut. Stamp greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Cut along scored border to trim die cut and layer on Cherry Cobbler Top Note Die cut. This makes a border in the same shape!
Adhere a piece of Cherry Cobbler 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon across the bag using SNAIL in the center. Tie the sides with Linen Thread. Trim ends and adhere with Mini Glue Dots.
Adhere Christmas Tree piece over ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add some Rhinestone Jewels to the tree if you like or to the star on top!
If you are still looking for Christmas ideas or ways to wrap those Christmas presents, try this gift bag idea with whatever stamps, ribbon, and embellishments you have on hand.

The first time I saw these tea lights turned into little cakes I thought they were the CUTEST things! So when I wanted just a little something for a friend to celebrate her belated birthday, I thought this would be perfect!
These little tea light birthday cakes are so easy to make and so much fun! You can pick the LED tea lights almost anywhere these days for pretty cheap. Then just decorate with a 5" x 3/4" strip of paper around the side. Punch a 1 3/4" Scallop Circle for the top. To get it over the light bulb, you have to punch a hole in the center and cut little slits. You can make a template first if you want by folding a scallop circle in half, half again and half again and then snipping the point which is the center....or draw lines across the scallop to see where they intersect in the center. Then use Paper Snips or a hobby knife to cut the little slits.
For the flowers and leaves, I used theItty Bitty Shapes Punch, the Boho Blossom Punch and the Bird Builder Punch. Then I added some rhinestones and pearls to the flowers. Put a little Scallop Border on the side of the cake if you want. I added some Dazzling Details, the new irridescent glitter glue in the Holiday Mini to the scallop border.
If you need some birthday cake ideas, get some tea lights and try this! Really cute! It's an easy birthday cake to make and you can make cakes for all occasions! Have fun!
Just in time for holiday baking, Stampin' Up! has introduced a new product called Cookie Stamps! You get three cookie stamps with a wooden handle to decorate your cookies. This works best with a shortbread recipe so the stamped image will not become distorted while baking. Demonstrators were treated to these stamped cookies at our Stampin' Up! Convention this summer!
And after you bake the cookies, use Stampin' Up! products for decorative packaging! Make a cute tag with a pretty Stampin' Up! ribbon....or use our new Kraft Gift Boxes. You can make great gifts any time of year!!
To order these brand new Cookie Stamps, just email me or go to my Online Store. Be sure to check the Clearance Rack while you are there for some great bargains!
Stampin' Up! isn't only about stamps, paper and ink! We have gorgeous fabric to work with as well, and you don't always have to be able to sew! Here are some photos of fabulous displays from Convention I think you will enjoy! Then be sure to check out the fabric from Stampin' Up! in my Online Store.

How about a chocolate brownie on National Chocolate Day?! The Pennant Parade stamp set makes it easy to decorate such a simple dessert to make it look special!
However you decide to celebrate National Chocolate Day,
You're probably going to need a graduation gift box idea and a tag. This is an easy one to make if you have the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine #113439 and the Bitty Box & Envelope Die #115967. You can use any card stock or paper, of course, but if you need a college graduation gift, maybe you would have access to the scrapbook packet at the campus bookstore and you can make a box in the school's colors! Just cut out the box with the die, assemble and decorate! There are other Big Shot dies that make nice gift packaging as well.
For the graduation gift tag, I've found that the stamp set Word Play on page 147 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog (available in wood- or clear-mount) has great expressions to use for graduation. Use your markers to color the stamp different colors if you like to get a multi-colored image. I sponged the edges, tore the end, added a folded over torn piece and Antique Brad, plus stamped a small butterfly from the SAB set "Bliss". If you need a larger gift bag or box, make a nice tag that will become a graduation keepsake.
If you don't already own the Big Shot, go to my store now and look it over! You need one! Let me know if you have any questions!
Graduation is upon us and this little graduation cap favor or gift box might come in handy. Underneath the top of the cap is a box with a lid that could be used to hold a small graduation gift or be used as a graduation party favor! The tassel is made with DMC floss, poked through the center of the top piece and covered with a small punched circle....just like a real graduation cap! You could make this any size you need, from tiny to large or a matching color for a particular school.
Use any box template you like. This particular sample is made with a 4" square of card stock, scored at 1" on all sides. Cut one of the score lines on each side from the edge into the intersecting score line to form little tabs to help you fold into the square box. This makes the lid. To make the box bottom, start with a slightly smaller square of card stock...I used 3 7/8" square and score again at 1" on all four sides. This will insure that the bottom will fit inside the lid. For the top of the cap, I cut a 3 1/4" square of card stock and attached the tassel. If indeed you wanted something larger or sturdier, you could use some thin cardboard (such as what comes with designer paper) as the cap top and wrap it in card stock.
It's fun to add your personal touch to a graduation party or event! And Stampin' Up! supplies are the best for any project! Order yours at my Online Store or contact me.
Isn't this paper purse cute from the outside using the Top Note die #113463 on top and the Love Letter Designer Series Paper #117162 plus a big red button from the Candy Cane buttons that were in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I hope they put all these new Big Designer Buttons in the next catalog!
And when you open the purse, you'll see this:
It's cute as is, but when you open it you have a small explosion album! You can add photos and embellishments inside or package a small gift inside. The purse is made with a 12"x12" piece of card stock.
If you need any of our wonderful Stampin' Up! paper and supplies, please order from my Online Store or email me. Remember, the Spring Is Blossoming special sneak peek is going on! After you spend $20, you can add this sneak peek to your order....only until April 30th! Don't miss it! You'll LOVE both the Four Frames Stamp Set and the Paisley Petals designer paper!
We all need ideas on how to gift wrap presents sometimes! I was late getting my friend's gifts mailed to her, but this gift wrap idea came to me when I saw these Big Shot Flower Folds die cuts (#115970) laying on the table. They were cut from both the Real Red Patterns Designer Series Paper #117155 and the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper #121878 in the Occasions Mini. I put them together, liked what I saw, and added a Filigree Designer Brad #112577 with a Clear Rhinestone Brad #113144 to hold it together. I wrapped a band of card stock around the boxes and adhered the flowers to it! You might recognize that the brown boxes are from the Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned line of jewelry. For being so spontaneous, this gift wrapping idea turned out to be very cute and my friend liked it!
There's more to stamping than Stampin' Up! cards! Next time you need to gift wrap something, think of Stampin' Up! ideas, using your stamping supplies and maybe the Stampin' Up! catalog for inspiration! It's a great source for ideas for all sorts of things.
Need anything from Stampin' Up!? Just shop at my Online Store HERE! Sale-a-Bration is still on until March 31! Don't miss out!
While still having fun playing with the Paper Daisies #119243, I got the idea to decorate a little gift bag. For this project I used the Mini Lunch Sacks that were available in the Holiday Mini Catalog, but of course you could use this idea on any brown paper bag.
After folding over the top of the bag, I tied the 1/2" Stitched-Poly ribbon in Blushing Bride #119267 around from top to bottom and tied a knot right underneath the flower. I put three Paper Daisies together, held together with a Clear Rhinestone Brad #113144. They are sponged with Blushing Bride ink. The flower embellishment is attached with a Stampin' Dimensional #104430 only at the top so the ribbon can be opened. Last of all, I stamped a greeting from the stamp set "You're a Gem" on page 25 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. Actually, this is a great inexpensive Stampin' Up! set with little greetings perfect for little gifts.
If you need supplies for this or any other Stampin' Up! projects, please consider shopping at my online store HERE or contact me by email.
