Last Day! Become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for $99…and Get a Christmas Keepsake Box Project FREE!

Christmas Box

Today, Sunday July 31st, is your last chance to begin your stamping and scrapbooking business for only $99. And for an extra bonus, receive this Christmas Keepsake Box FREE with your first demonstrator order beginning August 1st.  This box is part of the Shelli Signature Collection which means Shelli Gardner, founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, had a large part in the design of the product.  I told you that this box was much more beautiful in person than you can tell in the flyer about the promotion, so I hope you can get a better view of it here in this photo I found in my Convention photos.  It was on display in a glass case! Really a gorgeous project!

But the box is only a small part of the opportunity, excitement, and fun of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. With your Starter Kit, you can begin your Stampin' Up! business and take it to whatever level you like…maybe even earning the Incentive Trip to Fiji….or Hilton Head Island!  Or if it suits you better, just have occasional get-togethers with friends or family to enjoy the art of rubber stamping, or scrapbooking, or digital papercrafting.  You are also welcome to order the standard Starter Kit if you prefer to receive more stamping supplies than this smaller kit provides.  If you have been a stamper or scrapbooker or previous demo and already have lots of product, this $99 Starter Kit is for you!

Go to my website NOW and click the JOIN NOW button on the left. You can sign up online and be a demo in minutes!  If you have any technical difficulties, please contact me and I can try to help you solve your problem.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Card

Stampin' Up! Birthday Card

Stampin' Up! started a new program this year to celebrate demonstrators' birthdays by sending a card and giving a discount on one product during our birthday month!  So guess what I got in the mail today??!  Even though August is only a couple of days away, this card took me completely by surprise!  It's made with My Digital Studio but has two real rhinestone jewels stuck on the front!  The inside is decorated to match, which is a cool thing you can do with MDS cards…you can color the inside of the card and add elements to be printed.  So now I just have to decide which product I want to buy with my birthday discount!

Wouldn't you like to be part of a company like this?!  While you can sign up in August and every month afterwards, you can sign up in the next two days, by July 31, and start your own stamping and scrapbooking business for only $99.  July 31st is Sunday, so don't hesitate!  You can sign up online on my website in minutes!  Look for the "Join Now" button on the left!  Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Want to Be a Domestic Goddess??

Stampin' Up! has collections of stamping products that coordinate called "Suites".  One is called the Domestic Goddess Suite!  One of the sheets of designer paper actually looks just like an old tablecloth I have….and many of you probably have, too.

Since I have been busy this weekend working on some kitchen remodeling, I thought it appropriate to post some of the photos from the Domestic Goddess display at Convention!  There are two stamp sets, Now You're Cookin' and House & Home, both available in either wood- or clear-mount.  Also in this Suite, are the new Mini Clothespins!  Don't forget to put those on your next order!

You can get some of these products as digital downloads for My Digital Studio, too!

Stampin’ Up! Convention Swap

Swap Pennant Christmas Trees

Here is the only general swapping card I got made this year for the Stampin' Up! Convention.  Usually I make LOTS but I only got about 40 made of this one.  However, I was also part of an organized swap and I'll show you that swap card next.  The Christmas trees are punched with the new Petite Pennants Builder Punch, cardstock and the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper.  The little greeting and star is stamped with the Pennant Parade Stamp Set.  For the tree trunk, I just used a Stampin' Write Marker but you could also stamp the little pot in the stamp set.  This was faster!  This isn't the best lighting on this card as I took the photo in my hotel room!  But it is a fun and easy card to make!

If you want to order the Petite Pennants Punch or the Pennant Parade Stamp set in wood or clear-mount, then just visit my Stampin' Up! Online Store HERE.  Pennants are the trend right now!  Don't miss out!  They're fun!

My Digital Studio Hybrid Calendar from Convention

Stampin' Up! offered three +Fun classes on Friday evening during Convention for an extra charge, and I chose to take the "Creating Fabulous Hybrids with My Digital Studio" with Holly Linford.  Hybrid means using digital as well as traditional papercrafting. We were given this calendar (July to July) already made in My Digital Studio and a bag of goodies to use to embellish it.  Then Holly went page by page through the calendar suggesting how we could embellish some of the pages. Afterwards she went through and gave us tips on using My Digital Studio to design these pages.  So we ended up with a lovely calendar, some extra Stampin' Up! products, new downloads, more MDS training….and even cookies and treats!  Here are some photos:

My Digital Studio Calendar Convention

We added the bow on the spiral and the little flower on the front.

My Digital Studio Hybrid Calendar

The white thread is the white Baker's Twine #124262.

Adding die-cut butterflies to MDS Calendar

You can barely see them, but we added butterflies to some of the centers of the printed butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die #118138.  Holly taught us how to design the digital image so that the paper image will fit correctly.

Adding Flower to MDS Calendar

This stamp set, Day of Gratitude, is absolutely gorgeous in "real life" and you can see from this page it is equally beautiful in the digital version!  Love these colors together!  We just added a little flower and pearl to this page.

How to Color Digital Outline Images

We just added some Rhinestone Jewels #119246 to these Merry & Type ornaments .  This is a new stamp set in the new IB&C on page 31 and also a digital download #123139.  Holly taught us how to add color to these ornaments being as they are outlined shapes.  Just add colored punches behind them!

My Digital Studio Monochrome Look with Drop Shadows

For January we added some bling with the Rhinestones and learned how to do a monochrome look digitally by using drop shadows.

Hybrid Page in My Digital Studio Calendar

This is one of the cutest pages, I think….we just added some paper flowers from the new punches to the printed digital flowers.

If you haven't tried My Digital Studio yet, you really should learn more about it!  The more you use it, the more you love it!  It's not hard to learn….I'd NEVER done any digital scrapbooking before….but you just get in there and play around….and it is for way more than digital scrapbooking, as you can see!  To learn more about My Digital Studio, click HERE or contact me!

Convention that I don't even know what to post!  I'm having trouble finding where my photos downloaded on my desktop computer so I am using my laptop instead.  I think I will show you some photos from Memento Mall, the first afternoon, my first stop!  The displays were so cute! Stampin’ Up! Convention Highlights

Even though the Stampin' Up! Convention ended on Saturday afternoon, it was still a fun trip home yesterday (except for my suitcase being 6 lbs over the weight limit and having to put my new SU catalog binder, a stamp set and shoes in my carryon and still check a second bag…my laptop bag (from last year's convention!)…to get the weight down….and except for having to rush through the Denver airport even in the same concourse across a couple of "people-movers" to get to my next gate with only a thirty minute layover…while carrying the heavy carryon bag and purse!…and no time for lunch) …because I still was meeting Stampin' Up! Demonstrators at the airport in Salt Lake and on the plane and looking at swaps the demo had sitting next to me.  Part of the fun of Convention is that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are everywhere so it is easy to start chatting right away.  In fact, at the gate in Salt Lake City, a lady sat down next to me and I didn't see any signs of SU on her so assumed she was NOT a demo.  Then another demo came along and sat down and started talking about going through security with both of us, so I assumed she knew this lady next to me…but no, she could see MY SU paraphenalia and assumed this lady was with ME!  Finally, I realized this lady next to me was NOT with Stampin' Up! and didn't know what we were talking about!  We told her she should be one of us!  Guess we should have tried harder to recruit her!

Slowly reality settled in that the wonderful Stampin' Up! Convention and all its fun and all its perks had come to a close and I was returning to normal life again.  But, Stampin' Up! already had a highlight video which captures lots of the moments and experiences of Convention, almost up to the last minute (no video of Spencer Willis singing "The Candy Man" with his children right after Carrie Cudney's candy-themed demonstration!).  Just to hear the music brings it all back!

If you would like to be a part of all this excitement and fun, please consider joining us at Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator!  During July only, you can purchase this $99 Starter Kit and be a demo in minutes, plus get a free project to make (it is gorgous!!).  Just click HERE to see what you get for $99.  It will be the start of a new business and the start of new friendships and fun!

Turning Back Into a Pumpkin!

The Stampin' Up! Convention is over so just a few more hours to bask in all of the excitement as I try to pack everything in my suitcase and carryon.  Of course I have my "valuables"…better than jewels…my Make & Takes (that I didn't make), my swaps, my new stamp sets, my purchases from Memento Mall, my free stamp set for attending five classes (why wouldn't you??), my pack of Holiday Minis (oh wait till you see it!!!), my new catalog in a Stampin' Up! binder with dividers for categories, my new bag…and maybe even a leftover cookie from the class last night!

I don't know where to start but I'll post a few photos that I just downloaded that I took today of the displays. ENJOY!!

Last Day of the Stampin’ Up! Convention

Last day of the Stampin' Up! Convention. How sad! But I'm sure it will be a fun day! I just downloaded the 700 photos I took yesterday! Get ready! Well, I don't have time to post them right now but over the next weeks! Have I already said three times that the displays are fantastic?! I haven't won anything yet….usually after a demonstration on stage they have "Prize Patrol" where they put up a wristband color and those people jump up and holler, dance and scream until an SU employee brings them their prize! The music plays and everyone is applauding…pure excitement and fun! Now if we just would all win! 🙂 Two classes this morning, lunch and then last General Session this afternoon. I think I have one last card to swap.

Trust me…..

For a GOOD TIME……….Join Stampin' Up!….and come to Convention!!! We got a great preview of the new Holiday Mini today….to die for…comes out Sept. 1….who can wait that long??….demonstrators don't have to….we get preview stuff Aug. 1. I don't even remember what we can divulge and what we can't. Classes this afternoon and another general session, with Shelli's daughter Sara doing a spectacular job demo-ing….and had her daughter come up on stage…who couldn't possibly get a Simply Sent Kit without "everyone" getting one…..so we all got one!! We love free stuff!! Another trip to Memento Mall and a quick dinner and back for Awards Night. Anybody want to earn a trip to….Fiji??!!! Become a demonstrator! Now I have to finish up some swaps for tomorrow and mount some stamps for Make & Takes tomorrow and maybe get some sleep! Haven't even downloaded photos yet. Sorry! Really….I don't know where else there are this many nice people all in one place!!

Check out my website HERE under the Join the Fun button and also the Promotions button where you can get the Starter Kit for only $99….AND in July you get that box you will see….I guarantee you, that photo does not do it justice! You should see it in person…when you make your own….sign up!!

At the Stampin’ Up! Convention!!!!!!!!!

I tried to post from my phone yesterday on my way but I guess it didn't work! I arrived here yesterday and went right over to the Convention Center. I love the bag this year (don't we say that every year?) and the displays are fabulous! Just as I thought…lots of paper flowers and a gardening theme. Last night was the Kick-Off party and it was fun. Lots going on, prizes, games and displays. As my downline Priscilla and I walked around, we saw Shelli and there wasn't yet a line a mile long….so we got pictures and she signed our name tags! Then we walked around and watched the demonstrators demonstrating…..just like cooking shows with the overhead mirror so you can from the back. Gotta eat breakfast and head over there! General Session starts today.

Pennant Christmas Trees

The new Pennant Parade stamp set and the Petite Pennants Builder Punch are both so versatile you've got to have them!  On this card I used the punch to make the trees plus our new Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper and card stock.  I could have stamped images from the Pennant Parade stamp set and punched them out, also.  The word Merry and the star are from the stamp set.

Christmas Tree Pennant Card

Here's the card I made (a little ink boo-boo!).  I hope to redo it a little and perhaps take it as a swap to the Stampin' Up! Convention…if I can just find enough time!

Pennants are IN so you better have some way to use them on your cards, scrapbook pages and projects!  Shop Online HERE.
