Valentines!

Here are the Valentines I made for my boys. Of course I got my ideas from several cards on Splitcoaststampers.   The frog is made from several punches.  See if you can figure out how I did it!  I used "Simply Said" for the flowers, "Unfroggetable" for the words, and a new Spring Mini set "Doodle That" for the heart.  Also, "linen" background stamp on the Barely Banana and an old favorite, "Itty Bitty Backgrounds" for the bumps on the frog!Frogpunchcard_2

And this one is made from the Sell-a-Bration set "Very Punny" and circle punches, plus a few hearts from "Loving Hearts".  Like_no_udder_card_3

Using the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig (TM)

Yesterday as I was CASEing a card directly out of the Winter Mini for a Valentine, I decided the easiest way to place the extra words under the Love word was to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig .  This handy little tool allows you to place your stamped image exactly where you want it.  It is easy to use, just follow the directions.  Click on any of the photos to make them larger.
Here is the Love image already stamped.

Place the plastic sheet inside the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (TM) and stamp your image that you want to place.

Place the plastic sheet with the stamped sheet exactly where you want the words to appear on your project.  Place the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to fit at the top of the plastic sheet.

Remove the plastic sheet, leaving the tool exactly where you placed it.  Place your inked stamp right inside the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for perfect placement.

Voila!!  You have your stamped image right where you want it!

And here is my finished card!

Oval Punch Flower

Here is a card I made inspired by one I saw on Splitcoaststampers by tracylynn00.  I love how the flower is made with the small oval punch!  I punched 5 petals from Regal Rose, then used my gel pen to make faux stitching around each petal.  I stamped the stem with the stem from Love Without End with Mellow Moss ink.  The background paper on the Pretty in Pink cardstock is from the Designer series Loves Me in the Winter Mini.  I also used Tagger’s Dozen for the birthday stamp and the two tag punches. Using markers for the candles on the stamp made each candle a different color.  After adhering the flower petals, I attached a pink button threaded with pink gingham ribbon…and a tiny bit of Dazzling Diamonds on the fire of the candles!  I sent it to my upline, Jan, for her birthday!

Flirty Ribbon

When I was finished cutting paper and ribbon for my last stamp camp for the Valentine Mailbox, I piled all the materials together to move them off the table until I got ready to bag them up individually.  I thought all the ribbons looked so beautiful all in a pile so I took a picture!  The fancy pink ribbon and the ric-rac trim are from the Flirty Ribbon Originals collection on page 17 in the Winter Mini Catalog.  I think all five of the Flirty ribbons are fun and very pretty.  The rest of the ribbon is from the Idea Book & Catalog.

Sometimes when the kitchen table is piled high with cardstock and scraps and ink pads and accessories, I stand back and look at it and instead of a mess I see a gorgeous rainbow of colors!  Guess I am in the right hobby!

Here are two Valentine Mailboxes made from tin mailboxes found in the Target Dollar Spot weeks ago!
